LODI—Gayle Marie (Gillespie) Pustaver passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and family on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017. She was born on April 15,1934, in Lincoln Neb. Gayle married the love of her life, Dr. Frank Robert Pustaver, on June 19,1954, in Arlington Heights Ill., where Frank began his career as a Doctor of Chiropractic, and where they raised their young family until moving to their farmstead in Lodi, Wis.
Gayle spent a lifetime serving the Lord first and family second. She was a beautiful and gifted force and instilled a faith that her family will carry forward. She was a spiritual mentor, a gifted artist, creative talented designer and a culinary master.
Gayle is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Frank; four adoring children, Gregg (Deborah) Pustaver, Vicki (Mike) Sharpee, Dana Pustaver and Mark (Myra) Pustaver; nine precious grandchildren, Nathanael (Monica), Danielle, Joshua (Lacey), Abby (Alex), Rachael (Brian), Arick, Anja, Alexandra, and Kathryn; seven adorable great-grandchildren, Makayla, Lily, Riley, Gracin, Wheldon, Isaiah and Lucian; two sisters-in-law, Delores Gillespie and Suzanne Gillespie; as well as nieces and nephews she loved.
Gayle was preceded in death by both of her parents, father, King Wesley Gillespie, and mother, Muriel Kathryn Gillespie Rascher; step-father, Fred Rascher; and brothers, Kirkwood William Gillespie and Wesley Gregg Gillespie.
Per the family’s wishes, a private memorial service was held.
