A host of experienced players are returning for the Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s side for next weekend’s Singapore 7s.
Back in the team after missing the Hong Kong 7s are Kaminieli Rasaku, Terio Tamani, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Pilipo Bukayaro , Iowane Teba and Ropate Rere.
Out are regulars like Waisea Nacuqu, Napolioni Bolaca, Jerry Matana, Josese Batirerega, Suliano Volivoli and winger Viwa Naduvalo.
Coach Kolinisau said it was a difficult decision to make as the players gave their all in the past two weeks of training.
“As a coach, it is always hard to make decisions on choosing the final squad, which is a good thing because it means the boys know they have to work extra hard to get a spot,” he said.
Fiji will open its campaign against the USA at 5.15pm on Friday before facing Great Britain at 10.30pm and Ireland at 5.37pm on Saturday.
