The couple's wedding in 2010 was dubbed as ‘Mamma Mia, with aristocrats’. Yet, shortly after the event, Tatiana confessed she was struggling to settle into royal life. According to reports, she said, 'I do not feel like a princess. I do not feel that I married a prince, with a title. Well actually, yes, he is my prince, but nothing more.'

Princess Tatiana and Prince Nikolaos moved back to Greece in 2013, where he began pursuing a career as a landscape photographer, with the pair travelling around to capture the glistening Greek islands. Tatiana spoke of finding the adjustment to life in Greece challenging, telling Vogue, ‘I remember when we drove in, it felt like everyone was traveling in the opposite direction.’ She also explained she didn't lead a particularly glamorous lifestyle in Greece, adding ‘I live a very simple life here. I work, I go to the supermarket, I cook, I walk my dog, and the Greek people have welcomed me like they would anyone else.’

Tatiana is a frequent guest on fashion’s front row – spot her wearing a grey suit at Giorgio Armani, admiring dazzling shoes at Roger Vivier or chatting to Plum Sykes at a Vanity Fair party in New York.

The couple were last seen together as they attended a memorial at Windsor to mark the first anniversary of the death of Prince Nikolaos’s father, Constantine II.
