Konala Secures Back-to-Back Multi-Unit Deals, Expanding into Montana and Utah
March 13, 2025 // Franchising.com // Coeur d’Alene, ID - Konala signs two multi-unit deals bringing the brand to Montana and Utah.
Both deals were signed within the same week.
Leading the expansion into Utah is Tyson Adams, a former district manager for multiple Jersey Mike’s Subs locations, who has signed a five-unit deal to develop Konala in the state.
“After years in the industry, I knew I wanted to own my own business—but it had to have strong operations and big potential," said Adams. "The ability to run a store with minimal labor is a huge win. The kitchen eliminates many of the headaches—no fryers, grease, or heavy prep work—allowing me to focus on speed, service, and quality.”
The Montana deal is spearheaded by Eric Garside, a longtime franchisee with Snap-on Tools, who saw firsthand the demand for healthy, fast options. Constantly on the road, Garside relied on Konala for nutritious, high-protein meals.
“I’ve been a fan of Konala from day one—the food is incredible, and the business model is just as impressive,” said Garside.
Two recent locations were converted from old Carl’s Jr. units, replacing unhealthy fast food with a fresh, better-for-you, healthy option—and seeing an overwhelmingly positive response.
