Day two of this late winter storm brought strong weather across much of Central California, from hail in Biola to lightning in Madera and snow at Shaver Lake.

FOX26 Chief Meteorologist Kris Kuyper says that as of Thursday night the Fresno Airport has recorded 1.64 inches of rain.

The rain on the Valley floor means it's been snowing in the higher elevations.

The National Weather Service in Hanford reports most places in the Sierra have received a foot or more of snow, with Huntington Lake receiving around 19 inches.

Rain is forecasted for Friday as well and clear out for the weekend before another storm is forecasted to roll in on Monday.
