JoJo Siwa gushes over Chris Hughes in sweet post after CBB couple confirm romance

JoJo Siwa cannot hide her affections for Chris Hughes after sharing two loved up posts on Instagram showing her hugging and playfully laughing with the Love Island star

JoJo Siwa has made a sweet gushing post about Chris Hughes after the pair confirmed they were together as they were photographed kissing during a romantic trip to Mexico.

Their close bond became a major talking point while Jojo, 22, and Chris, 32, were on Celebrity Big Brother. And at the time, the reality TV star was quick to shut down romance rumours, claiming their relationship was purely platonic.

But the changes after JoJo dumped her partner Kath Ebbs at the show's wrap party and she and Chris later reunited in Mexico. In a new black and white picture, shared to JoJo's Instagram story, Chris is seen with his arm wrapped around her while walking away from the camera.

The caption read: "Just a lil longer." and in the second post, JoJo, 22, shared a video of the pair playing around. At one point in the video, JoJo and Chris are seen dancing with each other in the street, the video post was originally shared on JoJo's mum's account, showing Jessalynn has given Chris the seal of approval.

But it wasn't that long ago JoJo was quick to address rumours that she was entertaining a relationship with Chris following their flirtatious behaviour while in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

In an interview with US Weekly, the former star of Dance Moms said: "What’s so special about Chris and me is that our bond is so genuine that neither of us cares what people make of it."

At the time of meeting each other in the house, the reality TV star was in a relationship with Kath Ebbs.

The bond between Chris and JoJo was firmly cemented when the former Love Island star stepped in to defend JoJo against Mickey Rourke, who used homophobic language during a heated conversation with the TV star.

Jojo continued to tell the publication: "Obviously, he stood up for me in the beginning right away, which was beautiful."

She added: "I literally send him videos of us dancing all the time. I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, but I think being here, I’ve realized, ‘Oh no, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer’."

Her admission came just before it emerged that she had split with Australian influencer Kath Ebbs.

Their break-up further fuelled speculation that she was keen to explore a relationship with Chris after leaving the house.

At the time of her split with Kath, JoJo was seen out and about with Chris at a golf and tennis club.

However, even after all arrows appeared to point towards a romance, the reality star was quick to say: "It’s a great little special friendship that we have. We know our genuine friendship, and we know our bond."

During an interview with Access Hollywood, the pair were asked to define their relationship by hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover.

When asked the question, JoJo coyly replied: "You kind of can't define it, it's very special." In agreement, Chris added: "Yeah, I would struggle to describe it. If you want adjectives, I'd go for....."

And it was at this point Chris was noticeably stuttering and appeared awkward. He jokingly continued: "Oh.... why am I speechless. What is going on. God." However, it was soon cemented that they were romantic after they were seen kissing.
