Around 400 people who identify as homosexuals in Ghana are set to receive a ‘cure’ for their apparent condition.

To achieve this, a forum for gay cure therapy has been set up and so far around 400 homosexuals have signed up in a bid to be ‘cured’ through counselling and reformation

The forum has a theme which is being called “Exploring the myths surrounding LGBT rights.”

The body behind the forum, the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values (NCPHSRFV), said that England’s Prime Minister, Theresa May has an agenda to reduce the African population hence her pro-LGBT+ speech to Commonwealth leaders

The leader of the body, Moses Foh-Amoaning, said that the “400 men and women voluntarily surrendered themselves and registered with the coalition to undergo a sexual evangelism programme recently.”

Foh-Amoaning also added that there are plans to open a ‘Holistic Sexual Therapy Unit’ at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra which will also attempt to ‘cure’ queer people of their sexuality.

There are also plans to make a new law which will force gay people to undergo gay ‘conversion’ therapy.

“We will make our punishment corrective instead of punitive.” he said

The NCPHSRFV has had a long history of anti-gay campaigning and were known to actively reject political parties that had an sympathy for homosexuals.
