Prime Minister Golob meets with the members of the Slovenian Bishops Conference

SLOVENIA, July 4 - The meeting was chaired by Andrej Saje, the Bishop of Novo mesto and President of the SBC. At the core of the meeting was the issue of the relationship between the State and the Church, and topics pertaining to the position of the Church and its faithful in Slovenia. They addressed other home and world affairs as well.

The meeting was held in the spirit of an open dialogue and mutual respect. The participants highlighted the importance of regular dialogue, cooperation and mutual understanding even when there are differences. Mutual respect and openness remain the cornerstone of cooperation and seeking solutions beneficial to all also in the future.
